1. Scope and effective date

This Privacy Policy explains the data practices of Boom PaceMind for iPhone and iPad. It is effective September 18, 2026.

Boom PaceMind is a free, self-directed speech practice and educational app for adults. It is not a medical service and does not provide diagnosis or treatment.

2. Data collected by the developer

None. Boom PaceMind does not collect personal information, contact information, health information, audio, identifiers, diagnostics, usage analytics, purchase history, location, or user content. Data is not linked to you and is not used for tracking.

3. Information stored locally

The app may save practice completion, practice duration, self-ratings, streak and progress values, Courage Ladder items, favorite strategies, onboarding status, and interface preferences in local app storage. This information supports the app's on-device features and is not sent to the developer or another service.

Your operating system may include app data in a device backup according to your Apple device and iCloud backup settings. Boom PaceMind does not operate or access that backup.

4. Network transmission

Boom PaceMind does not transmit practice information or personal data over a network. Its core functionality does not require an internet connection. There is no developer-operated server, cloud sync, remote content feed, or external AI processing.

5. Accounts, analytics, advertising, payments, and third parties

  • Payments, subscriptions, and in-app purchases: Not used.
  • External AI or speech analysis services: Not used.

6. Device permissions

Boom PaceMind does not request access to the microphone, camera, photos, location, contacts, calendars, Bluetooth, motion, Health data, speech recognition, notifications, or other sensitive device capabilities. The exercises use on-screen guidance and do not record or analyze your voice.

7. Retention and deletion

Local information remains on the device until you reset local data within Boom PaceMind or delete the app. The in-app reset action removes the app's saved practice history, preferences, favorites, self-ratings, and journey progress from local app storage after confirmation. Deleting the app removes its local container subject to the operating system's backup behavior.

Because the developer does not receive this information, there is no server-side user record to retrieve, export, or delete.

8. Children's privacy

Boom PaceMind is designed for adults and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children or from any other users.

9. Security

Boom PaceMind minimizes privacy risk by not collecting or transmitting personal data. Protection of locally stored app information also depends on the security of your device, passcode, Apple account, and backup settings.

10. Changes to this policy

If Boom PaceMind's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed behavior is released. The effective date above will reflect the latest policy version.
